The Midwest Man

Born and raised in the Midwest. Love to grill, hike, camp and go on long road trips. Also have a creative side that shows up after 2am, a time when most of my fiction and music writing happens.

Spent a few years living in Southern California and couldn't take it. I need humid summers, leaves changing colors, and freezing winters with blizzards.

Returned to the Midwest shortly after hearing an alarming number of complaints from Southern Californians claiming the "winter has been brutal" because it dropped into the upper 40's and rained for three days. Couldn't let the sunny beaches and tofu thin out my blood.

You can take me outta the midwest, but you can't take the midwest outta me. I'll share as much as I can on life out here. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing bags in 30 degree weather and sipping on a cheap beer.
